Calling The Taliesin In

I’m calling the Taliesin in!
Calling the Taliesin in!
Calling the Taliesin in!
Calling the Taliesin in!

Heavy is the heart of history
As I follow the story of stones
—in concord, in concord—
I follow an edifice of bones

And there, I excavate
A portal grave, a dolmen tomb,
And I unearth my name
From her quarry womb
Ollamh, Ollamh!
Let me wear the six colours
Of rain—
I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!

Let me drum to make peace for peace
With peace—to make peace, for peace
To release, to let go
Calling the Mother of Muse
To let go
Ollamh, Ollamh!
Let me wear the six colours
Of rain—

And take me back in time
Back in mind, to the bone fire
The pyre of desire, back there

To the first time. To the root
And there, let me
Rewind eternity’s wind, a pattern
Of time. Let the ollave intertwine, in a garden
Of thyme, in viola

I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!

To make space for peace to grow—
To grow. Where does my garden grow?

In the heart, at the heart, by heart
In the heart, at the heart, by heart
In the heart, at the heart, by heart

Let grace find its nerve. Let me
Excavate the balladry of ancestral
Lines. Let me find frisson, let me
Divine vision. Redefine, the earth
In poetry and voices

I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!
I’m calling the Taliesin in!
