What’s Happening?
The Stroll of Poets Festival is making a grand return to Calgary after many years, thanks to Program Coordinator, Ashley Frerichs. With the support from The City of Calgary and a diverse group of local curators, this festival is set to revive its original format and bring the magic of poetry back to the streets of Calgary.
This year’s event is supported by the Writers’ Guild of Alberta, the Stroll of Poets Society, the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society, and the Calgary Spoken Word Society.
Burlesque Brunch
Start your day with a unique Burlesque Brunch event, where you can enjoy delicious food, non-alcoholic drinks, and a side of captivating performances. This is a ticketed event, so be sure to reserve your spot!

After Party at the Ironwood
The festival culminates with an exciting After Party at the Ironwood Stage & Grill at 7 pm. Here, you’ll witness a poetic and musical collaboration featuring Calgary Poet Laureate Emeriti, including:

- Natalie Meisner
- Shone Thistle
- Sheri-D Wilson
Plus, enjoy a live performance by the local indie pop/jazz fusion band, The Fragments! This promises to be a night of creativity, community, and connection.
