Poets and spoken word artists, get ready to amplify your voice! I’m thrilled to be part of Amplify: Spoken Word Intensive, a brand-new program in collaboration with Vancouver Poetry House and Calgary Spoken Word Society. This four-day intensive is designed for poets who want to deepen their craft through 1-1 mentorship, small-group workshops, and a powerful closing performance.

About Amplify

This pilot program invites a select group of poets to refine their spoken word skills through:

  • One-on-one mentorship with experienced spoken word artists.
  • Small-group workshops led by world-class faculty.
  • A culminating house concert performance, where participants will share their work in an intimate, electrifying setting.

Alongside the core program, we’re offering public workshops for all spoken word enthusiasts. These workshops are $15 each and open to both in-person and online participants. Financial assistance is available—if cost is a barrier, reach out to [email protected].
