The Doorway Extravaganza

Join us for The Doorway Extravaganza, a vibrant evening celebrating 35 years of The Doorway‘s impactful work with Calgary’s youth. This special event will feature a blend of music, poetry, and community spirit, all in support of young people transitioning away from street life.

What to Expect

  • Live Performances: Enjoy unique sets from local musicians and poets, including Indigenous artists Sandra Sutter and Rob Ing, along with Jennie Harluk, Danny Nix, and Denver Venoit.
  • Special Guest: Be inspired by readings from Sheri-D Wilson as the Poet Laureate Emeritus of Calgary.
  • Entertainment: Laugh along with host Amy Edgar, a local stand-up comedian known for her playful, high-energy presence and longtime Doorway supporter.
  • Silent Auction & 50/50 Raffle: Bid on fantastic items donated by local businesses and join the raffle for a chance to win.
  • Food & Drink: Your ticket includes a complimentary drink and appetizers to enjoy throughout the night.
