  • Live music to carry the evening
  • A heartfelt dedication to two cherished Beano regulars who passed recently – Darcy Lisecki and Norm K Johnson
  • An informal stroll afterward to the Ship & Anchor, for those who want to keep the night going
  • The warm, unmistakable Beano spirit – community, art, and togetherness in one beloved Calgary room

Why You Should Attend

Poetry lives where people gather. This anthology isn’t just ink and paper – it’s a portrait of Calgary’s creative heart, fifty-plus voices woven into one collection. To launch it in a room full of the people who made it, with music and readings and remembrance, is to feel exactly why this work matters. We make space for each other here. We listen. We celebrate.
