the YYScene Saturday: Handsome Alice Theatre presents A Love Letter to Emily C by Calgary’s poet laureate Sheri-D Wilson in the evening.

A Love Letter to Emily C receives its premiere courtesy of Calgary’s Handsome Alice Theatre at the Arts Commons Big Secret Theatre May 4-11.

Sheri-D Wilson recently released the single “the colour of ruby” from the album Dragon Rouge, out on CD Baby. Listen to the track on YouTube or the website.

The play, called Love Letter To Emily C, is largely based on Carr’s endless stream of letters reflecting her epiphanies, good and bad… runs from May 4-11.
