XXXXXX...TURNS SEVENTY-SIX

– Don Harris

XXXXXX, my friend, turns seventy-six soon,
On the last day of August, ’round about noon.
His friends will gather to sing him a tune:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY XXXXXX” is the song they’ll croon.
Being one more year older doesn’t seem like much,
But each year means a lot for elders and such,
’Cause every new year brings them closer in touch…
Heaven forbid! Does one now need a crutch?
No matter the state of his physical being,
XXXXXX improves daily his capacity for seeing
What’s really important for ALL’S general well-being,
As he fosters the lives of people he’s freeing
From going astray by his coaching of principles,
That guide so many folk on their paths to invincible.
The young and the old, completely convincible,
Absorb words and ideas of noblest principle.
XXXXXX is our group’s champion, our model driving force;
No matter the challenge, he keeps all on course
To uplift Humanity, which pleases THE SOURCE.
Let’s all do our best! Do good and right! No remorse.
Folk Tree Lodge surely will be
A place remembered always reverently,
As XXXXXX’s retreat for setting one free…
A treasure of NATUREGOD bless a tree!
