Program Developer
Creator, Producer, and Director of the Spoken Word Program @ The Banff Centre. Sheri-D created and developed the Spoken Word Program, into one of the leading educational forces for the non-hierarchical approach to learning about Spoken Word Poetry. She was Director of the program for seven years.
Artistic Director, Development Team-Leader and Facilitator of Word Travels. Word Travels seeks to introduce students to the possibilities of poetry in the written and Spoken Word forms. We produce Spoken Word presentations, day-seminars, youth Slams, week and month-long workshops with well-known professional artists. Junior High and High School Levels.

Master-Class Leader & Teacher to Teachers
In 2012 Sheri-D taught master-class at The Vancouver Writers Festival. And for five years has led a master-class at Verses Festival (Canadian Individual Slam Finals), and at The Canadian National Slam finals.
She coached The Calgary Slam Team for seven years, and has been invited to coach several other teams across Canada.
Workshop Leader & Youth Instructor
Sheri-D taught at WordsWorth Youth Camp (Writers Guild of Alberta) for six years, and presently and continues to teach at YouthWrite Youth Camp for young people interested in writing as a viable vocation.
The workshops have varied in length: One Day, Three-Day, Five-Day, Month-long. Sheri-D has lead workshops at festivals, universities, seminars, Goddess circles and various other forms of gatherings.
Mentor
She is mentor to a myriad of students from youth through to professional writers.

Sheri-D has led leadership workshops at The Banff Centre.
Visiting Scholar & University Lecturer
Orion Scholar at The University of Victoria and Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She taught at Women’s Words at the University of Alberta for 7 years.
MFA Advisor
In 2016-2017 Sheri-D is advising Danielle Altrogge who is working on her MA in Spoken Word.
