Meet the 2024 CBC Poetry Prize readers
The 2024 CBC Poetry Prize has enlisted 12 writers and editors from across Canada – including Sheri-D Wilson – to determine the longlist for this year’s competition.
These seasoned professionals will select the longlist from thousands of submissions, which will then be narrowed down by a jury to form the shortlist and ultimately, the winner. The prize includes $6,000 from the Canada Council for the Arts, a two-week writing residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and publication on CBC Books. Submissions are open until June 1, 2024.
